{"id":828181,"date":"2026-05-28T16:54:24","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T16:54:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/828181\/"},"modified":"2026-05-28T16:54:24","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T16:54:24","slug":"man-to-face-court-over-alleged-fuel-drive-offs-using-trucks-in-adelaides-north","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/828181\/","title":{"rendered":"Man to face court over alleged fuel drive-offs using trucks in Adelaide&#8217;s north"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">A man has been charged for allegedly using trucks in serial fuel drive-offs north of Adelaide, with police estimating the cost to be more than $8,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Police were called to an Angle Vale service station, in Adelaide&#8217;s northern suburbs, at about 10:30am on Thursday after reports of a person who allegedly tried to leave without paying for fuel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Patrols spoke with a man on the scene, and they said further investigations allegedly linked him to a series of fuel drive-offs between October last year and this month in Virginia, Lower Light and Angle Vale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Police will allege that the 51-year-old driver used a Kenworth prime mover, an Isuzu truck and a Holden sedan, displaying unassigned number plates, to steal fuel on several occasions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">The man was arrested and charged with multiple counts of making off without payment and various traffic offences.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A large prime move parked in a shed\" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/3871b79f4a84e5cb5dd07a9c2a17be35.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Police have examined the vehicles allegedly used by the man to steal fuel.
