Newly released dispatch audio revealed that police received two calls over Packers running back Josh Jacobs\u2019 alleged domestic violence attack<\/a>, with one of them being from inside the home.<\/p>\n

According to the audio, which was obtained by TMJ 4<\/a>, a dispatcher told police that she could hear \u201cyelling and screaming\u201d on an open line inside Jacobs\u2019 residence.<\/p>\n

\u201cThings being thrown, open line,\u201d the dispatcher can be heard telling the officers before adding, \u201cPossibly a male and female.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jacobs was booked into Brown County Jail on Tuesday. Brown County Jail<\/p>\n

Minutes later, dispatch received a second call about the incident from a concerned neighbor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe neighbor is calling now, saying that her neighbor was assaulted,\u201d dispatch said.<\/p>\n

Police were sent to the scene following the calls, but dispatch later said the suspect \u2014 who turned out to be Jacobs \u2014 was not at his Wisconsin residence, leaving in a Mercedes G-Wagon.<\/p>\n

Jacobs\u2019 vehicle, however, was being tracked via license plate readers, with authorities saying on the call, \u201cat this point we\u2019ll want that vehicle stopped if you come across it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the alleged incidents occurring on Saturday morning, Jacobs was arrested on a slew of charges on Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jacobs, 28, was booked into the Brown County Jail on charges of domestic abuse, battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim, a press release from the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis remains an active and ongoing investigation,\u201d the press release read. \u201cNo further information will be released at this time.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Packers said<\/a> the team is \u201caware of the matter involving Josh Jacobs. As it is an ongoing legal situation, we will withhold further comment.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to his attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, Jacobs is denying the claims made against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cJosh vehemently denies the allegations, and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evidence that has not yet been made public,\u201d the attorneys\u2019 statement read. \u201cWe ask for fairness and restraint while the judicial process takes its course.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jacobs is set to enter his eighth NFL season \u2014 and his third with Green Bay \u2014 after being selected by the Raiders in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
