In an earlier interview with ETimes, Salman Khan recalled the incident when Sushmita Sen appeared as a guest on \u2018Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai,\u2019 hosted by the late Farooque Shaikh. Salman said he arrived on set late, while Sushmita had already been waiting since morning.\u201cOne day I turn up late on sets, on the first day of shooting, at 11 o\u2019clock. Sushmita Sen was there since 9 o\u2019clock in the morning. So the moment I went to the sets and said \u2018Hi Sush\u2019 – that was the first time I was meeting Sush – \u2018Hi Sush, how are you Sush? Salman\u2019. And she just shakes my hand, she does \u2018huh\u2019 and she walks away,\u201d Salman said.The reaction left Salman confused. He said Salman then turned to director David Dhawan<\/a> and asked, \u201cWhat\u2019s her problem, man? Why\u2019s she giving me attitude?\u201d<\/p>\n

Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen\u2019s bond<\/p>\n

The awkward start did not affect their long-term equation. Salman later praised Sushmita on the same show. The two actors worked together in \u2018Biwi No. 1\u2019 and later collaborated on films such as \u2018Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya\u2019 and \u2018Tumko Na Bhool Payenge.\u2019Their friendship also continued beyond film sets. Sushmita was once seen dancing with and hugging Salman at his birthday party. Salman also cheered for her after the release of \u2018Aarya 2\u2019 and wrote, \u201cArre wah (Wow) Sush, how nice you looking ya. Totally killing it. So happy for you.\u201d<\/p>\n
