CHICAGO (WLS) — A person was found dead inside a garbage container on Chicago’s West Side on Saturday afternoon, police said.<\/p>\n

Police said a male of an unknown age was found unresponsive in the Lawndale neighborhood’s 4700-block of West Arthington Street just after 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The person was pronounced dead on the scene. How he died was not immediately clear, and his identity was not immediately released.<\/p>\n

Area detectives are conducting a death investigation.<\/p>\n

Police did not immediately provide further information.<\/p>\n
