{"id":835097,"date":"2026-05-31T18:06:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-31T18:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/835097\/"},"modified":"2026-05-31T18:06:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-31T18:06:14","slug":"iran-ready-to-fire-missiles-across-middle-east-after-digging-out-bombed-tunnels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/835097\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran ready to fire missiles across Middle East after digging out bombed tunnels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Iran is already poised to continue firing missiles at Israel and other countries in the Middle East, after having <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/article-894858\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">dug out<\/a> the tunnel entrances that US and Israeli bombings had collapsed, CNN reported on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">According to CNN, Iran used simple equipment such as bulldozers and dump trucks to clear roads and tunnel entrances, which had been destroyed by the bombing, leading experts to tell CNN that their missile capabilities would be very difficult to destroy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were preparing for this kind of war for 20 years,\u201d Timur Kadyshev, a senior researcher at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg, who studies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/tags\/iran-missiles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Iran\u2019s missiles<\/a>, told CNN.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cYou have to use very sophisticated, very expensive weapons to do this kind of damage, and the recovery is very low tech \u2013 it\u2019s just bulldozers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Other experts said that Iran still has around 1,000 missiles stored underground, and that these stockpiles were unlikely to have been damaged from strikes at ground level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">An anonymous US official also said that Iran had &#8220;exceeded all timelines&#8221;
