JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier says his office is investigating a Duval County School Board residency issue involving Board Member Darryl Willie.<\/p>\n Uthmeier responded to a request from the Duval County Young Republicans to investigate and analyze the laws after they claimed Willie changed his address and that the new address falls outside his district\u2019s boundaries.<\/p>\n In a post on X, Uthmeier wrote: \u201cWe are investigating! Thanks for bringing this to our attention.\u201d<\/p>\n The request cited public discussion in Duval County about how residency rules apply when district boundaries are altered during an incumbent\u2019s term.
