{"id":835305,"date":"2026-05-31T20:33:17","date_gmt":"2026-05-31T20:33:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/835305\/"},"modified":"2026-05-31T20:33:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-31T20:33:17","slug":"1-dead-4-injured-in-crash-on-lbj-freeway-in-dallas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/835305\/","title":{"rendered":"1 dead, 4 injured in crash on LBJ Freeway in Dallas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dallas police are investigating a crash that left one person dead and several others injured Saturday evening on westbound LBJ Freeway.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to the 11100 block of westbound LBJ Freeway just before 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a major accident, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Preliminary information from investigators indicated a blue sedan traveling westbound attempted to exit the freeway from the second lane from the left.<\/p>\n<p>The sedan struck a concrete barrier and crash cushion before being hit by a white pickup and a semi truck with a trailer.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the sedan caught fire after the collision.<\/p>\n<p>One passenger in the sedan was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a hospital in critical condition. A second passenger in the sedan died at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the sedan was also transported to a hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>The driver and two passengers in the white pickup were also taken to hospitals, according to police.
