PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Today, local youth set the stage to perform their talents.<\/p>\n

They rehearsed their skills for the upcoming Pennsylvania Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant.<\/p>\n

All participants will be featured in the 2026 Juneteenth Parade, in which 6abc is the Exclusive Broadcast Partner.<\/p>\n

“Our scholarship pageant is a platform for young people of color to showcase their talents, their intellect, their passions on stage,” said Sonni Graham, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant.<\/p>\n

“One of the missions of the Pennsylvania Juneteenth Initiative is to educate the public on…the history of Juneteenth …what it means to acknowledge your ancestors… and I feel like with the Juneteenth pageant, we are continuing a legacy of making sure our young people are successful,” she continued.<\/p>\n

The pageant takes place on June 6th, 2026 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center of Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

The parade will be held on Father’s Day, June 21st 2026, in broadcast partnership with 6abc.<\/p>\n
