They said it couldn\u2019t be done,\u201d Stern, 72, said, admitting that he still \u201cgets the chills\u201d when he thinks about the moment Quivers, 73, called him to tell him.<\/p>\n<p>Howard Stern\u2019s radio partner Robin Quivers (both seen above in 2014) announced she\u2019s cancer-free 14 years after her diagnosis. Theo Wargo<\/p>\n<p>Quivers shared the news \u2014 which Stern called \u201ca miracle\u201d \u2014  on Monday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Howard Stern Show.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t believe it. And really, I\u2019ve said this to Robin privately, but I would like to say it on the air. Like this is really a miracle,\u201d the disc jockey added.<\/p>\n<p>Stern also called Quivers \u2014 who first announced her diagnosis with endometrial cancer in 2012 \u2014\u00a0\u201ca fighter\u201d and praised her resilience in <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/07\/19\/entertainment\/howard-stern-show-co-host-robin-quivers-talks-cancer-hair-loss-a-new-look\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">her cancer battle.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe researched, she got the answers she needed, and here\u2019s the good lesson \u2014 she took charge,\u201d Stern continued. \u201cI\u2019m gonna say this because this is really true. I\u2019ve watched the whole thing. She took charge of her health. She started to do all the right things. She never deviated, and she really took it seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stern (seen above with Quivers in 2006) called her \u201ca fighter\u201d and praised her resilience in her cancer battle. WireImage<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, she announced that she was in remission after 15 months of chemotherapy and radiation \u2014 but her cancer came back in 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She opened up about undergoing immunotherapy infusions intermittently to treat her cancer in <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/robin-quivers-howard-stern-endometrial-cancer-exclusive-8382934\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a 2023 interview with People.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel fine.
