This is reportedly not the only wedding festivities that Lipa and Turner will partake in this week, either. According to reports<\/a>, a second three-day wedding event is set to be held in Palermo, Sicily. Some of the figures who are rumored<\/a> to be on the guest list? Famous friends such as Elton John, Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Donatella Versace, and Simon Porte Jacquemus, who many have tipped as the potential designer behind Lipa\u2019s second wedding gown. (Lipa and Jacquemus are longtime friends, after all, and she often wears his designs<\/a>\u2014including at his wedding to Marco Maestri in 2022.)<\/p>\n

However the grand wedding ceremony will look, it has been at least a year in the making: The couple revealed that they were engaged<\/a> last year, when Lipa revealed the news in her British Vogue cover story. \u201cYeah, we\u2019re engaged,\u201d Lipa said in the July cover interview<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don\u2019t know, be best friends forever\u2014it\u2019s a really special feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lipa and Turner began dating in January 2024, after first meeting each other at The River Caf\u00e9 in London. Their official, widely reported meet-cute happened at a later date, while attending a mutual friend\u2019s party in Los Angeles. The two realized they were reading the exact same novel\u2014Trust by Hern\u00e1n D\u00edaz\u2014and had both just finished the first chapter.<\/p>\n

They were first spotted together attending the after-party for the Masters of The Air premiere in Los Angeles that same month, before continuing to be spotted throughout 2024 at afterparties for the Grammys, BAFTAs, and BRIT Awards. (Turner was also spotted watching Lipa during her headline Glastonbury set that summer, supporting from the sidelines.)<\/p>\n

Since making their official red carpet debut in May 2025 at that year\u2019s Met Gala, they\u2019ve continued to go on many Instagram-worthy vacations together<\/a>, sparking engagement speculation in December 2024 when Lipa shared photos of herself in a sunny locale wearing an enormous diamond on her ring finger.
