Philadelphia is set to welcome the FIFA World Cup 2026<\/a> in style, with a free opening-night celebration at Lemon Hill featuring Latin music superstar Luis Fonsi.<\/p>\n Philadelphia Soccer 2026 announced Monday that the Grammy-nominated singer behind the global smash hit ‘Despacito<\/a>‘ will headline the opening-night celebration at FIFA Fan Festival on June 11 at Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n The concert will follow the tournament’s opening match between Mexico and South Africa, which kicks off at 3 p.m., and will launch what organizers are calling a 39-day celebration of soccer, music, food and culture in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n For fans eager to soak up the World Cup<\/a> atmosphere without a match ticket, the FIFA Fan Festival is designed to be the city’s central gathering place throughout the tournament.
