Curry said Monday in a social media post, \u201cThe \u200cnext \u200cstage is set. This is bigger than \u200ba shoe deal, bigger than a signature series. This is the partnership of a lifetime. The \u2060future of Curry \u200bBrand is with Li-Ning.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe \u2060future of Curry Brand will be powered by a \u2060company truly rooted in sports and innovation. A partner dedicated to creating quality products with \u200bsneakers that I \u2060believe in, that will continue to deliver at the highest level.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to \u200bESPN, Curry agreed to a 10-year deal \u200bwith \u200cLi-Ning. The report indicated that he was impressed with the company\u2019s shoes made for teammate Jimmy Butler III and Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade.<\/p>\n
Li-Ning \u200cwill look to open Curry Brand stores in both the U.S. and China, per ESPN.<\/p>\n
The company was founded by Li Ning, a 63-year-old former gymnast \u200bwho \u200bwon three gold medals for China at \u200bthe 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.<\/p>\n
