been issued for parts of WA as a heavy rain spell and possible thunderstorm is set to batter the State on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">An afternoon thunderstorm is expected to bring up to 35mm of rain and 30km\/h winds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The Bureau of Meteorology issued a strong wind warning for people living on the coasts of Geraldton, Lancelin, Perth, Bunbury Geographe, Leeuwin, Albany and Esperance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Showers and cool temperatures are expected to continue on Thursday, with up to 15mm of rain set to fall in the morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">While the rain will ease from Friday, it\u2019s not expected to stay dry for long, with another cold front sweeping through the city on Sunday, bringing another 20mm of rain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">It follows a run of colder days, including a low point of 2.2 degrees on Monday which saw Bluff Knoll get the first snow fall of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">But the showers will likely add little to July\u2019s rainfall, which currently sits at 105.2mm \u2014 well below the long run average for Perth at this time of year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Perth\u2019s
