ahead of where we were at this point last year — and they are already accounting for about 10,000 jobs,” Van Duyne told The Dallas Express. “Employers like DFW Airport, American Airlines, U-Line, Toyota, Lockheed Martin, 7/11, Omni, Vistra Energy, PNC Bank, and Children’s Health are already signed up, just to name a few.”

Major Hiring Event Returns

The North Texas Job Fair has grown into one of the largest workforce and hiring events in Texas since launching in 2021, according to the event website.

The 2025 event drew more than 500 employers and organizations and more than 35,000 attendees.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, last year’s job fair featured thousands of openings across industries including healthcare, manufacturing, aviation, energy, law enforcement, government, and nonprofits.

Van Duyne said the event has become a major service for North Texans seeking work and employers looking for talent.

“In many ways, the NTX Job Fair represents the best of North Texas coming together,” Van Duyne told The Dallas Express. “No other Congressional office in the country even attempts to orchestrate this kind of massive employment event for the people they represent — but it has been such an important service that we are dedicated to making it better every year.”

Jobs Across Experience Levels

“In past years, 30% of the job openings have been for six-figure positions,” Van Duyne told The Dallas Express. “There are opportunities for every level — from first-time job seekers to C-suite candidates, part-time to full-time, with strong benefit packages and real career trajectories.”

Van Duyne said the event has helped connect more than 100,000 North Texans with companies and organizations over the past four years.

The event website says employers at the 2026 job fair span industries including aviation, aerospace, defense, healthcare, finance, law enforcement, logistics, manufacturing, government, education, energy, construction, and skilled trades.

Van Duyne said the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has treated the job fair as an annual recruiting stop.

“I remember the Army Corps of Engineers telling me this is the only job fair they participate in every year and they have always been able to fill the positions they have open — many of which are highly technical engineering positions to build out reservoirs and requiring specialized architecture experience,” Van Duyne told DX.

Free Registration Open

Admission to the North Texas Job Fair is free for job seekers and registered employers, according to the event website.

The site recommends job seekers bring several copies of their resume, something to write with, and business attire because some employers may conduct interviews or hire on the spot.

Van Duyne said the event also attracts people returning to work after raising children or changing careers.

“I’ve also met lots of people who are returning to the workforce after being out raising kids or having taken a break from one career and looking to find their next new adventure,” Van Duyne told The Dallas Express. “I’m so honored that we always have hundreds and hundreds of North Texas businesses from large corporations to mom and pop shops
