Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville with Reverend Damon Williamson officiating. \u00a0Interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.<\/p>\n<p>Martha was born in Onslow County to the late; Haywood and Olive Mae Heath Jarman and was the third of six children. She is preceded in death by her brother David B. Jarman. \u00a0Martha married the love of her life, Tommy Humphrey in 1970. \u00a0He had been drafted into the Army and Martha accompanied him to Fort Bragg after they married. \u00a0After the Vietnam War, Tommy and Martha returned home to Jacksonville and had a son, Jason. Tommy and Martha opened Down East Heating and Air Conditioning in 1986. \u00a0A formidable team, Martha provided the office and administrative support for their growing business. \u00a0 In work, as in life, she was a steady support and encouragement for Tommy. She enjoyed working alongside him in business and serving the Lord with him as youth leaders and Sunday School teachers throughout the years. Martha was a beloved sister, mother, aunt and Mimi. \u00a0Her presence among us will be greatly missed, but we are comforted to know she is reunited with Tommy and no longer in pain.<\/p>\n<p>Martha is survived by her son, Jason Humphrey and his wife, Kristal of Jacksonville, Granddaughter, Sarah Humphrey of Jacksonville and great granddaughter, Adaline Grace of Jacksonville. Also surviving her two sisters, Bonnie E. Jarman, of Jacksonville, Brenda Williams and her husband Steve of Jacksonville her two Brothers, Kenneth D. Jarman and his wife Wanda of Jacksonville and Randy T. Jarman and his wife Pat of Waxhaw, NC; her sister-in-law Robin P.
