CHICAGO (WLS) — DUI charges have been filed against a Chicago man accused of causing a deadly crash on the Kennedy Expressway back in March, Illinois State Police said.<\/p>\n

The crash happened on Interstate 90 in the West Loop area around 1:45 a.m. on March 15.<\/p>\n

ISP said 27-year-old Isaiah Olivas, who was driving a Jeep, rear-ended a Hyundai that was disabled and stopped in the left southbound lane near Randolph Street.<\/p>\n

Rashad Dean and Nadinah Cunnings, two people who were in the Hyundai, died at a local hospital, ISP said. Olivas was injured.<\/p>\n

Olivas was arrested on Monday and remains in custody.<\/p>\n

He is charged with two counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence Involving Death and two counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence Causing Great Bodily Harm.<\/p>\n
