MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – xAI has begun installing computing infrastructure at its expanded data center property in Southwest Memphis.<\/p>\n
The new facility on Tulane Road,<\/a> dubbed \u201cColossus 2,\u201d will incorporate a minimum of one million Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) once completed by 2026.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, xAI Memphis<\/a> posted to X announcing that 110,000 GPUs are in the process of being installed, which will be \u201cpowered by a diverse array of energy sources, similar to Colossus.\u201d<\/p>\n In mid-February we broke ground at our new data center at Tulane in Shelby County, Tennessee.
