The Clearfork development is getting a serving from one of the city\u2019s home-grown restaurant groups.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After nearly 10 years at Waterside, chef Marcus Paslay\u2019s Piattello Italian Kitchen restaurant is relocating to the recently opened three-story office building in the Clearfork development. The restaurant will be the anchor tenant on the ground floor of The Offices at Clearfork building.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter nearly 10 incredible years at Waterside, this move felt like the natural next step for our team,\u201d said Paslay in the release. \u201cWe\u2019re only moving about a mile down the road, which means we still get to serve the neighborhood and community that built Piattello from the beginning, while bringing a Fort Worth-owned concept into one of the city\u2019s most visited and luxurious developments.\u201d<\/p>\n
Clearfork\u2019s restaurant lineup has largely consisted of national and regional brands.<\/p>\n
The chef debuted Piattello in 2017 and built a following for its house-made pastas, pizzas, breads and seasonal Italian menu.<\/p>\n
Piattello is part of Paslay\u2019s From Scratch Hospitality restaurant group that focuses on chef-driven concepts. Since opening Clay Pigeon Food & Drink in 2008, Paslay has added Piattello Italian Kitchen, Provender Hall in the Stockyards and Walloon\u2019s Restaurant on the Near Southside to his portfolio.<\/p>\n
The restaurant\u2019s new location will occupy 5,620 square feet with about 160 indoor seats, along with a 40-seat patio.<\/p>\n
The location will also add daytime service, serving guests for both lunch and dinner seven days a week, according to a news release. The new location is expected to open in November.<\/p>\n
The building at the corner of Marathon Avenue and Ozona Boulevard, already lured the local office of Wells Fargo Bank from downtown Fort Worth. The bank opened its new Fort Worth headquarters there in May, occupying nearly two floors in the three-story, 75,088-square-foot \u00a0building.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Shops at Clearfork is an upscale, 270-acre mixed-use development in southwest Fort Worth, co-developed by Fort Worth-based Cassco Development Co. and retail giant Simon Property Group. The development, on 270 acres of the legendary Edwards Ranch, is located on the banks of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River between Hulen Street and Bryant Irvin Road.<\/p>\n
