President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s latest appearance in the Oval Office on Thursday led to a wave of alarm and concern on social media, sparking new calls for his removal via the 25th Amendment. <\/p>\n

Critics on social media highlighted several moments in particular, including one where he suggested he won all 50 states in the presidential election. <\/p>\n

\u201cProbably we won all 50 if we had an honest count if you wanna know the truth,\u201d he declared. <\/p>\n

Trump won 31 states in 2024. <\/p>\n

In another, he said he wanted to build a new path that would connect the Lincoln Memorial to the Potomac River, and insisted \u201cthey\u201d want to name it \u201cthe Trump Promenade<\/a>\u201d in his honor. <\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t say who \u201cthey\u201d are. <\/p>\n

And in yet another, Trump appeared to struggle to keep alert, as he has<\/a> during numerous<\/a> public appearances<\/a> since his return, particularly<\/a> when others are speaking: <\/p>\n

Critics sounded the alarm \u2015 and some referenced the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a process<\/a> in which the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet can declare a president unable to perform their duties. The vice president would then become \u201cacting president.\u201d <\/p>\n

If the president disputes that decision, Congress would ultimately decide the issue, with a two-thirds vote of the House and Senate required to keep the president out of office. <\/p>\n

One lawmaker called the situation a \u201cnational security crisis\u201d in a post on X:<\/p>\n

The White House fired back at critics accusing the president of nodding off.<\/p>\n

But the critics weren\u2019t convinced:<\/p>\n
