A 2022 study by University of Michigan researchers <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/01\/07\/lifestyle\/glickles-are-the-new-wild-pickle-combo-tiktokers-are-trying\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found that pickle<\/a> juice also beat out tap water by reducing the severity of cramping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cons include high sodium and potential irritation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lacto-fermented pickle juice, which undergoes a saltwater fermentation process, offers the added benefit of probiotics that support\u00a0gut health.
