We got the announcement trailer for the reveal of Nintendo Switch 2 exactly one year ago, but that was it.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been up to media outlets to supplement things from there. Last summer, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nintendoeverything.com\/first-elden-ring-nintendo-switch-2-footage-surfaces-15-minutes-in-total\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>first off-screen footage emerged<\/strong><\/a>. We then saw <a href=\"https:\/\/nintendoeverything.com\/elden-rings-frame-rate-has-been-improved-on-nintendo-switch-2-new-footage\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>more handheld gameplay<\/strong><\/a> featuring an improved build back in March.<\/p>\n<p>While this is well documented at this point, Elden Ring was originally slated for last year on Nintendo Switch 2. FromSoftware decided to take quite a bit of extra time to get the game\u2019s performance to a much more stable level, so it was <a href=\"https:\/\/nintendoeverything.com\/elden-ring-delayed-to-2026-on-nintendo-switch-2-statement-released\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>pushed out of 2025.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not much, but as mentioned above, we do have new direct-feed gameplay. FromSoftware posted a brief video on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eldenring.jp\/tarnishededition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">official website<\/a> following the release date announcement. There\u2019s no audio, but it\u2019s our best look at the port so far.
