A 33-year-old man who was fatally shot in Pico Rivera was identified by county authorities Saturday.<\/p>\n
Joseph Soto was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner\u2019s office as the shooting victim. Soto was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
The shooting was reported about 5:15 a.m. Thursday in the 9500 block of Aldrich Street, in a residential area west of the San Gabriel (605) River Freeway and south of Whittier Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department.<\/p>\n
A suspect has been arrested in connection with Soto\u2019s shooting.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the course of the homicide detective\u2019s investigation, a suspect was identified and subsequently located in Riverside County,\u201d according to an LASD statement. \u201cRiverside County Sheriff\u2019s Department (deputies) arrested the suspect for an unrelated charge.<\/p>\n
The suspect was immediately identified.<\/p>\n
