LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz.<\/strong> – Avondale Police say a man has been taken to the hospital as a result of an officer-involved shooting that happened in Litchfield Park on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n What we know:<\/p>\n The June 4 incident happened in an area near Villa Nueva Drive and Dysart Road<\/a> at around 1:35 p.m.<\/p>\n “The officers responded to the residence for an authorized court order,” police said. “Upon entry into the residence, officers contacted the adult male. During this contact, the subject was armed and an officer involved shooting occurred.
