What to Know About the Shooting<\/a><\/p>\n

The shooting occurred just after 9 p.m. Saturday at Stop Six Park. According to officials, a large-scale, family-oriented community event was underway when the gunfire<\/a> began, causing attendees to flee for cover.<\/p>\n

Investigators report that the suspect emerged from an area between a local business strip center and an adjacent apartment complex just east of the park. The individual then fired \u201cindiscriminately\u201d into the crowd before fleeing on foot back toward the apartment complex.<\/p>\n
