\n\tEXCLUSIVE:<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0Terrifier\u00a0franchise\u2019s Lauren LaVera<\/a> is set to star opposite Rory Culkin<\/a> (Waco) in\u00a0Red Wedding<\/a>\u00a0(w\/t), a new horror-thriller from director Josh Stolberg<\/a> and Gulfstream Pictures<\/a> that has entered production in Birmingham, Alabama.<\/p>\n

\n\tWritten by Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, who have previously collaborated on multiple entries in the\u00a0Saw\u00a0franchise, the film follows a teenager and her stepmother who are kidnapped and taken to a remote location as part of a ransom plot, soon discovering their captors are the least of their worries when a deadly bride and groom arrive and begin picking them off one by one.<\/p>\n

\n\tMike Karz and William Bindley are producing for Gulfstream alongside Amy Kim and Jamie Burke for Lifeboat Productions, with Gulfstream also financing.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project marks the 10th that Gulfstream has recently financed in full, following a slate of titles picked up by Amazon MGM for worldwide distribution, including the upcoming\u00a0Goodbye Girl\u00a0starring Kiernan Shipka and Cole Sprouse.<\/p>\n

\n\tBest known for her breakout role as Sienna Shaw, the protagonist taking on Art the Clown, in the\u00a0Terrifier\u00a0franchise \u2014 from the second installment on \u2014 LaVera\u2019s other credits include Marvel\u2019s\u00a0Iron Fist, Paramount\u2019s\u00a0Twisted\u00a0and AMC\u2019s\u00a0Dispatches from Elsewhere. She is repped by CESD, Lewk, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.<\/p>\n

\n\tNotable film credits for Culkin include Film Kogonada\u2019s\u00a0Columbus, Jonas \u00c5kerlund\u2019s\u00a0Lords of Chaos\u00a0and Lou Howe\u2019s\u00a0Gabriel, for which he was nominated for Breakthrough Actor at the Gotham Awards. He played Branch Davidian David Thibodeau in Paramount Network\u2019s\u00a0Waco, starring opposite Taylor Kitsch and Michael Shannon, with additional TV credits including\u00a0Black Mirror,\u00a0Halston\u00a0and\u00a0Under the Banner of Heaven, to name a few. Upcoming, he\u2019ll be seen in Apple\u2019s series\u00a0Lazarus, based on the bestselling book series by Lars Kepler. He is repped by Paradigm and Brookside Artists Management.<\/p>\n

\n\tStolberg co-wrote the\u00a0Saw\u00a0franchise\u2019s\u00a0Jigsaw\u00a0and\u00a0Spiral: From the Book of Saw, with additional writing credits including\u00a0Piranha 3D,\u00a0Sorority Row\u00a0and\u00a0Skillhouse, as well as directing\u00a0The Hungover Games\u00a0and\u00a0Feels So Good.
