Legacy Drive widening<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> The project will build two lanes of Legacy Drive from Prosper Trail to a future Prosper ISD middle school, widen the roadway to four lanes near the school and construct a water line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Prosper Town Council approved a $6.1 million construction contract for the project at a <a href=\"https:\/\/prospertx.new.swagit.com\/videos\/388555\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">May 19 meeting<\/a>, and construction is expected to begin later this summer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> summer 2026-summer 2027<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $10.6 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> city of Prosper, Prosper ISD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ongoing projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/mckinney\/transportation\/2026\/06\/01\/concrete-panel-replacement-continues-on-virginia-parkway-in-mckinney\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">McKinney concrete panel replacement<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> McKinney\u2019s Roadstock project will replace damaged concrete panels and restripe Eldorado Parkway and Virginia Parkway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> McKinney City Council approved an additional $1.2 million for the project at a May 5 meeting, and concrete panel replacement has started along Virginia Parkway.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> estimated completion TBD<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $6 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> city of McKinney<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/richardson\/transportation\/2026\/05\/28\/check-out-4-richardson-transportation-updates-in-june\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Custer Parkway reconstruction<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> Custer Parkway will undergo street reconstruction from Campbell Road to Renner Road and street panel replacement from Renner Road to SH 190.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Pavement replacements on multiple segments are underway, with several replacements expected to be complete in June.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> fall 2024-fall 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $23.1 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> city of Richardson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/transportation\/2026\/06\/01\/check-out-7-road-project-updates-in-keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Keller Hicks Road improvements<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> The project involves installing a three-lane undivided concrete pavement section from Park Vista Boulevard to Lauren Way and adding streetlights, sidewalks and stormwater drainage improvements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Keller Hicks Road has been reduced to one-way eastbound traffic from Park Vista Boulevard to Lauren Way for paving, which is expected to wrap up in early fall.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> expected completion spring 2027<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $24 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> cities of Fort Worth, Keller<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5.
