\n\t\u201cFreakier Friday<\/a>\u201d has been unveiled to members of the film press, and first reactions are calling it a \u201cgreat feel-good film\u201d that is \u201chilarious\u201d as it is \u201ctouching.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tTV host Jeff Conway took to X to share his praise. He gushed that the film was \u201cdouble the fun\u201d with \u201ctwice the heart\u201d as the original \u201cFreaky Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThese 22 years later, Lindsay Lohan<\/a> and Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a> haven\u2019t missed a beat! Their on-screen chemistry is truly something special,\u201d he wrote<\/a>. \u201cA true delight that the entire family will enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tVariety\u2019s senior artisans editor Jazz Tangcay wrote on X that the film was \u201can absolute riot,\u201d adding that she \u201claughed\u201d out loud and \u201ccried\u201d during the tender family moments. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s such a great feel-good film,\u201d she wrote<\/a>. \u201cLindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis deliver hilarity and emotion in this funtastic sequel. I never knew I needed this film! Oh and Manny Jacinto, I love him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEntertainment journalist Brandon Davis echoed the praise, writing on X that he was \u201chowling\u201d with laughter during Tuesday night\u2019s premiere screening. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cJamie Lee Curtis is having the time of her life and it\u2019s a blast to watch,\u201d Davis wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s silly and sometimes confusing but hilarious throughout, even touching at times. Absolutely some of the most fun I\u2019ve had watching a movie this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFreakier Friday\u201d takes place years after the original. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As she attempts to navigate the struggles of merging her two families, Anna finds herself, her mom Tess, her daughter and her stepdaughter in a four-way body swap. What starts as pure chaos soon helps them find some understanding amid the complicated family transition.<\/p>\n

\n\tOriginal stars Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis return as the leading mother-daughter duo. Other cast members include Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile speaking to Variety at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, Curtis said she has learned a lot from Lohan since returning for the Disney sequel. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe has taught me so much,\u201d Curtis said<\/a>. \u201cShe has her team, where her two people would be standing on either side of a camera holding a big light. It\u2019s Lindsay lighting \u2014 that would have been good branding \u2014 they hold lights so that we look better. So, I\u2019ve learned a lot from her already. We had a good time. We love each other.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThe original 2003 \u201cFreaky Friday,\u201d based on Mary Rodgers\u2019 1972 novel, follows widowed mother Tess and her teenage daughter Anna.
