Follow The Post\u2019s live updates for the latest score, news and highlights from around NYC.<\/p>\n<p>Knicks coach Mike Brown fumes at refs over free-throw disparity after Game 3 loss to Spurs<br \/>\n\tBy \t\t<a class=\"liveblog-meta-author\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/author\/justin-tasch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n\t\t\tJustin Tasch\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Knicks head coach Mike Brown called out the referees over the drastic second-half free-throw disparity after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/08\/sports\/knicks-drop-game-3-at-raucous-msg-as-spurs-strike-back-in-nba-finals\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">their Game 3 NBA Finals loss<\/a>\u00a0Monday night at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n<p>The Spurs cut the Knicks\u2019 series lead to 2-1 with a 115-111 victory after attempting 24 free throws in the second half, while the Knicks had only eight free throws in the final two quarters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never thought I\u2019d be in the NBA finals and see a team get 24 free-throw attempts in the second half to another team\u2019s eight,\u201d Brown said after the game. \u201cI don\u2019t think I complain much about officials or the fairness when it comes to free-throw attempts.
