JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Neighbors in one Westside Jacksonville neighborhood are speaking out after they say two dogs are terrorizing their streets.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou never know when they\u2019re going to sneak up on you and they will,\u201d neighbor Gilbert Miller said.<\/p>\n
>>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<<<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Miller said he walks with an ax handle outside to protect himself from what he said are his neighbor\u2019s aggressive dogs. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been attacked at least four times, not viciously, but they get your pants, they shake your pants, nip your fingers and just come at you like they\u2019re going to tear you up,\u201d Miller said.<\/p>\n Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office records show that Miller has called them four times since January, each time he said they were about these dogs. <\/p>\n RELATED: <\/b>\u2018It\u2019s absolutely insane\u2019: Woman speaks out after dogs attack her cat in Magnolia Gardens<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Miller said he\u2019s also reached out to Animal Care and Protective Services several times about it. <\/p>\n But he is not the only neighbor concerned about the dogs.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re actually climbing the fences coming to people\u2019s yards,\u201d neighbor Jeffery Cunningham said. \u201cYou can\u2019t feel safe out there.\u201d<\/p>\n RELATED: <\/b>\u2018The dog next door is so aggressive\u2019: Beach Haven neighbors report ongoing issues with loose dog<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThey are in my yard all times of night, the morning,\u201d neighbor Mary Woods said. \u201cI don\u2019t ride my bicycle no more.\u201d <\/p>\n In the past two weeks, we\u2019ve reported two other cases of aggressive dogs scaring neighbors in other Jacksonville neighborhoods. <\/p>\n We reached out to ACPS and we asked them what\u2019s the threshold for them to respond and collect dogs if they are being aggressive.
