One person was killed Tuesday evening after a driver slammed into a laundromat in Manhattan Beach, according to police.<\/p>\n
The crash was reported just after 6 p.m. on the 900 block of Aviation Boulevard. There, for reasons still under investigation, a woman drove a vehicle into the building of a laundromat.<\/p>\n
At least one person was hit by the car and died as a result, the Manhattan Beach Police Department said. It\u2019s unclear if that individual was a customer at the laundromat or if they were a pedestrian who was walking by.<\/p>\n
The driver was unhurt in the crash, police said. She\u2019s cooperating with the investigation.<\/p>\n
