(credit: JONATHAN ERNST\/REUTERS)<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">&#8220;I told Bibi, you&#8217;d better be careful what you do, because you could be left alone against Iran very soon,&#8221; Trump said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">On Sunday, Trump asked Netanyahu to avoid striking Iran in retaliation for the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel. That conversation ended without a clear agreement, and Netanyahu did not tell Trump his final decision on the matter, according to a Monday report by Channel 12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Netanyahu &#8216;won&#8217;t have any choice&#8217; but to accept Iran deal, Trump tells FT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The US president also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-898663\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told the Financial Times<\/a> on Sunday that Netanyahu &#8220;won\u2019t have any choice&#8221; but to accept a deal with Iran.<br \/>\u201cI call the shots. I call all the shots,&#8221; said Trump. &#8220;He doesn\u2019t call the shots.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Together, we will bring safety to the North&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/defense-news\/article-898752\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">released a pre-recorded press statement<\/a> on Monday evening, in which he confirmed that he and Trump were in contact but did not go into detail.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cI told Trump: \u2018Together, we will bring safety to the North,&#8221; Netanyahu said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Netanyahu\u2019s coalition criticizes cancellation of Lebanon strikes after Trump\u2019s intervention<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The latest round of Iranian missile attacks on Israel came immediately after IDF strikes on Dahiyeh, a suburb of Beirut, in Lebanon on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>One week earlier, the prime minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/politics-and-diplomacy\/article-898056\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">came under fire<\/a> for Israel&#8217;s decision to cancel an earlier round of strikes on Beirut at Trump&#8217;s behest.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, a partner in Netanyahu\u2019s coalition, sharply criticized the move, stating that \u201cThis is the time to tell our friend, President Trump \u2013 \u2018no\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Former IDF chief of staff and Yashar!
