I start chemo today,\u201d Mane said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1029151852875145\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Facebook video<\/a>. \u201cOne in 750 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and I\u2019m one of them.<\/p>\n<p>Actor and former wrestler Tyler Mane revealed he has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Tyler Mane \/ Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause it\u2019s rarely talked about, it\u2019s usually found at later stages and has worse outcomes. I want to change that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actor, who reprised the role of Sabretooth in <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/07\/23\/entertainment\/deadpool-wolverine-review-fantastic-buddy-comedy-gives-the-mcu-new-hope\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2024\u2019s \u201cDeadpool &amp; Wolverine,<\/a>\u201d said he plans to document his treatment journey to raise awareness about <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/12\/08\/us-news\/number-of-men-with-breast-cancer-near-nycs-ground-zero-skyrockets-now-90-times-national-average\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">male breast cancer<\/a> and encourage other men to pay attention to potential symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome along for my journey to kick this thing in the ass,\u201d he said. \u201cSend this to 10 of your friends and have them follow me because people need to hear this. F\u2013k cancer!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mane explained that he initially wanted to keep his diagnosis private.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYep. I have breast cancer. And yep, it\u2019s super rare. Only 1% of breast cancers are men,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Mane said he plans to raise awareness about male breast cancer, which affects one in 750 men.
