She was supposed to compete in the 3-point contest as well as Saturday&#8217;s All-Star Game, but missed both events.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/caitlin-clark-wnba-allstar-game-d60f5159ca434a508095317f8fa011ca\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Clark told reporters on Saturday night;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Clark told reporters on Saturday night<\/a> that she had been getting treatment during the festivities, which took place in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/clark-wnba-groin-injury-7872b6cea0b8ee21219a43373c9bdf4d\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:She was injured;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">She was injured<\/a> in the final minute of last Tuesday\u2019s victory at Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p>Clark went to see a doctor in New York, according to Fever coach Stephanie White. White said she hadn&#8217;t talked to the trainers between shootaround and the game to get an update on how the doctor&#8217;s appointment went.<\/p>\n<p>Barclays Center was full of fans, many of whom wore Clark&#8217;s No. 22 jerseys.<\/p>\n<p>The second-year player missed 10 games during the first half of the season with three different muscle injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Clark never missed a game because of injury during her college career at Iowa or last season when she was selected the WNBA\u2019s Rookie of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>The two-time All-Star is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds this season for a team that was expected to contend for a league championship.
