As the status of Dallas-Fort Worth\u2019s commercial real estate<\/a> landscape\u00a0rises with the region\u2019s\u00a0growing profile<\/a>, industry leaders have been\u00a0called upon to take on new challenges and work alongside international players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

More than two dozen of those leaders will be honored in August at Bisnow’s DFW Women Leading Real Estate Awards<\/a>. The Aug. 5 event will be the fifth annual awards ceremony honoring the trailblazing women who lead by example and drive exceptional results for their teams.<\/p>\n

The event\u00a0will include an awards ceremony, a keynote address, a panel discussion and ample opportunities for networking. Most of all, it celebrates the talent, mentorship and diversity of this year\u2019s honorees, shining a spotlight on those setting the mark for the next generation in what remains a male-dominated industry.<\/p>\n

\n The DFW Women Leading Real Estate Awards will take place on Aug. 5, 2026.\n <\/p>\n

Women made incremental gains<\/a> in representation throughout the industry last year despite companies facing political pushback for promoting initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion<\/a>. Bisnow’s annual analysis found that across the 100 largest CRE<\/a> companies in 2025, women held nearly 28% of C-suite jobs and almost a third of board seats, up from 27.3% and 31.8%, respectively, last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will recognize DFW women from across the CRE ecosystem, including development, construction, brokerage, property management<\/a>, design, operations and investment.<\/p>\n

The 29 honorees were divided into four categories based on their role and experience level: Leader of the Year, Dealmaker of the Year, Innovator of the Year and Rising Star.<\/p>\n

Attendees will hear a keynote address from Elaine Agather, global vice chair for the Dallas region at JPMorgan Chase<\/a>. Agather will talk about how to build influence, own the table and lead terms.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The honorees for each category will be announced at the event, which will also feature a panel of women discussing the outlook for DFW commercial real estate.<\/p>\n
