\n\tThe co-founders of Black Sabbath<\/a> paid tribute to their doomsayer-in-chief following the news of Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>\u2019s death at age 76 <\/a>on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tGuitarist Tony Iommi<\/a> shared photos of Osbourne on stage, the pair embracing mid-performance, and of the band later in their career, writing: \u201cI just can\u2019t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park. It\u2019s just such heartbreaking news that I can\u2019t really find the words, there won\u2019t ever be another like him.\u201d Iommi added, \u201cGeezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother. My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a separate post<\/a>, \u200b\u200bbassist Geezer Butler<\/a> looked back at their years growing up together in Birmingham, England. \u201cGoodbye dear friend- thanks for all those years- we had some great fun,\u201d he reminisced. \u201c4 kids from Aston- who\u2019d have thought, eh? So glad we got to do it one last time, back in Aston. Love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDrummer Bill Ward posted<\/a> a photo booth-style photo of him and Osbourne, and wrote, \u201cWhere will I find you now?\u00a0 In the memories, our unspoken embraces, our missed phone calls, no, you\u2019re forever in my heart.\u201d He added: \u201cNever goodbye. Thank you forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlong with Osbourne\u2019s bandmates, Black Sabbath shared a brief and simple message alongside a photo of the Prince of Darkness on his throne: \u201cOzzy Forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs news of Osbourne\u2019s death spread, artists from across genres and generations paid tribute<\/a> to the heavy metal pioneer, who collaborated and shared the stage with the likes of Slash, Elton John, Mot\u00f6rhead, and Madonna, as well as Busta Rhymes, Yungblud, and Post Malone.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDidn\u2019t think you would leave so soon,\u201d Yungblud, who recently developed a close mentorship with the late artist, wrote on social media. \u201cThe last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room. But as it is written with legends, they seem to know the things that we don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
