\n\tColdplay<\/a> paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> during their concert in Nashville last night following the musician\u2019s death<\/a>. Frontman Chris Martin<\/a> dedicated the performance to Osbourne before the band showcased a cover of Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2018s 1972 ballad \u201cChanges.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe\u2019d like to dedicate this whole show to the incredible genius, talent, and character-full gift to the world who was Ozzy Osbourne,\u201d Martin told the audience at Nissan Stadium. \u201cWe send our love to his family.\u201d Coldplay then showcased a stripped down rendition of \u201cChanges,\u201d which opens with the lines, \u201cI feel unhappy, I feel so sad\/ I\u2019ve lost the best friend that I ever had.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAfter the song, Martin added, \u201cOzzy, we love you, wherever you\u2019re going.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tBlack Sabbath released \u201cChanges\u201d as part of their album Vol. 4. In his 2011 autobiography\u00a0I Am Ozzy, Osbourne noted that the song was inspired by the end of guitarist Bill Ward<\/a>\u2018s first marriage. In 2003, Osbourne and his daughter Kelly Osbourne released a duet version of the track with revised lyrics. <\/p>\n \n\tEarlier this month, Yungblud<\/a> performed a cover of \u201cChanges\u201d live at Black Sabbath\u2019s Back to the Beginning<\/a> benefit concert at Birmingham, England\u2019s Villa Park. Yungblud paid tribute<\/a> to Osbourne in a lengthy Instagram post, writing, \u201cI will never forget you \u2014 you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage. Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough.
