That includes limiting outdoor watering, washing<br \/>\nvehicles less often, and fixing leaks around homes and businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory is effective immediately. <\/p>\n<p>While the conservation request is voluntary, customers are reminded<br \/>\nthat year-round outdoor watering restrictions remain in place under Johnston<br \/>\nCounty\u2019s mandatory conservation policy.<\/p>\n<p>Under those rules:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Odd-numbered addresses may irrigate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.<\/li>\n<li>Even-numbered addresses may irrigate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.<\/li>\n<li>No irrigation is allowed on Mondays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Residents filling swimming pools should follow the same<br \/>\nschedule as their designated irrigation days.<\/p>\n<p>Johnston County Public Utilities said it will continue<br \/>\nmonitoring river levels, water demand, and drought conditions and provide<br \/>\nupdates as needed.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the county\u2019s conservation policy and<br \/>\nwater-saving tips is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__http:\/JohnstonNC.gov\/utilities__;!!M5erwxGTI6mlTHJSECWB8LY!FNtB6O0HZtytm7g9jgoRYyy1zZj88_WK09nMr7O_HiXYHc8tTXBfUms3EI6pBgy-PHYfVyKRQZrV0edBm2ub34rVhK5RRjI$\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">JohnstonNC.gov\/utilities<\/a>.
