{"id":85850,"date":"2025-07-23T12:03:18","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T12:03:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/85850\/"},"modified":"2025-07-23T12:03:18","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T12:03:18","slug":"phx-steakhouse-looking-for-135-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/85850\/","title":{"rendered":"PHX steakhouse looking for 135 employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2014 After being closed for nearly five months due to a sale and renovation, iconic central Phoenix steakhouse Durant\u2019s is close to reopening.<\/p>\n<p>But first, they need to hire more than 100 staff members.<\/p>\n<p>The steakhouse, which is located just south of Central Avenue and Thomas Road, <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-restaurant-news\/durants-phoenix-sold\/5672401\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">closed in February after being sold<\/a> to Mike and Jeff Mastro, their father, Dennis, and their business partner, Scott Trolio.<\/p>\n<p>This group also operates several well-known Valley restaurants, including Steak 44, Ocean 44 and Dominick\u2019s Steakhouse.<\/p>\n<p>Durant\u2019s, which is nearing its 75th anniversary, has been closed while undergoing renovations, which include kitchen upgrades. The ownership group said that the vintage look and feel of the restaurant\u2019s dining room will be preserved.<\/p>\n<p>The reopening date for the restaurant is currently scheduled for Dec. 10, according to Jennifer Sturgeon, the Vice President of Public Relations for J. Moser and Company.<\/p>\n<p>What positions will Durant\u2019s be hiring for?<\/p>\n<p>Durant\u2019s is looking to fill about 135 positions and will host a \u201chiring camp,\u201d starting Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held at 2603 N. Central Avenue, just south of Durant\u2019s.
