{"id":859234,"date":"2026-06-11T06:07:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T06:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/859234\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T06:07:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T06:07:14","slug":"woman-identified-after-manhattan-beach-laundromat-crash-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/859234\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman identified after Manhattan Beach laundromat crash \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities have identified the woman who died after being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/local\/manhattan-beach-laundromat-crash\/3902100\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">hit by a car that crashed into a laundromat<\/a> in Manhattan Beach on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified her on Wednesday as 61-year-old Ana Amaral Moreira.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Manhattan Police Department, Moreira was doing her laundry when another woman drove a black SUV into Suds &amp; Duds Coin-Op Laundry on Aviation Boulevard near 10th Street just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Video from the scene showed the glass in front of the business had shattered, and a support beam had been damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators were working to determine why the driver, who was not hurt, accelerated instead of braking.
