{"id":859548,"date":"2026-06-11T09:30:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T09:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/859548\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T09:30:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T09:30:16","slug":"ai-mega-listings-just-the-start-razer-ceo-says-ahead-of-spacex-ipo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/859548\/","title":{"rendered":"AI mega-listings &#8216;just the start,&#8217; Razer CEO says, ahead of SpaceX IPO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Razer CEO Tan Min-Liang speaks onstage with CNBC&#8217;s Joanna Ossinger at Singapore&#8217;s Super AI convention on June 11, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>SuperAI 2026<\/p>\n<p>Blockbuster public offerings from companies involved in the global artificial intelligence race could be an enduring feature of the industry, Min-Liang Tan, CEO at Singaporean gaming company Razer, said Thursday, ahead of a series of widely anticipated public debuts from major AI companies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think with this host of new companies going out into public capital markets, it&#8217;s super exciting, but I think this would be just the beginning,&#8221; Tan told CNBC&#8217;s Joanna Ossinger at Singapore&#8217;s SuperAI convention, referring to IPO filings from tech giants SpaceX, Anthropic and OpenAI.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re going to see a second generation, a third generation, different waves coming through,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Tan&#8217;s remarks come a day before Elon Musk&#8217;s SpaceX \u2014 which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/1181412\/000162828026036936\/spaceexplorationtechnologi.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">includes xAI<\/a>, the business unit overseeing X and Musk&#8217;s Grok model \u2014 makes its public debut, targeting a historic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/06\/03\/spacex-ipo-stock-price-roadshow-musk.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$1.77 trillion valuation<\/a> in its IPO. <\/p>\n<p>OpenAI <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/06\/08\/openai-confidentially-files-for-ipo-prepping-wall-street-for-ai-debut.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">filed to go public<\/a> Monday afternoon stateside, hot on the heels of its rival Anthropic, which submitted an IPO filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/06\/01\/anthropic-ipo-s1-prospectus.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a week earlier<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Anthropic closed its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anthropic.com\/news\/series-h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Series H funding round<\/a> on May 28 at a $965 billion valuation, edging out OpenAI, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/accelerating-the-next-phase-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">valued<\/a> at $852 billion in March.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the frenzy of filings from the AI companies set to make their Wall Street debuts, Tan&#8217;s Razer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:6924679836347088896\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">delisted<\/a> from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in April 2022 \u2014 after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/12\/02\/razer-shares-move-after-privatization-offer.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">five years on the exchange<\/a> \u2014 in a move that he said was to allow them to focus on AI development.<\/p>\n<p>Razer&#8217;s privatization deal saw a consortium of investors led by co-founder Tan and Hong Kong-based private equity firm CVC Capital Partners offer up to 10.79 billion Hong Kong dollars ($1.38 billion) to buyout shares they did not own at HK$2.82 apiece.
