Schmidt | Park Ridge police <\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\"><strong>PARK RIDGE, Ill.<\/strong> &#8211; An Illinois man is facing several charges after allegedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/tag\/crime-publicsafety\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">burglarizing a tobacco and vape shop<\/a> Tuesday morning in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/tag\/us\/il\/cook-county\/park-ridge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Park Ridge.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>   Vape shop break-in <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-bd34935e=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">The smash-and-grab burglary happened just after midnight at Prestige Tobacco and Vape Shop located at 149 N. Northwest Highway, according to Park Ridge police.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">Officers arrived to find the store\u2019s front glass door shattered, and the business owner confirmed that several vaping products were stolen. He also provided surveillance footage showing the suspect.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">Roughly four hours later, a Park Ridge officer noticed a man matching the suspect&#8217;s description near the intersection of Austin and Grace avenues and took him into custody.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">The suspect, identified as 38-year-old John B.
