Belkoura, Fort Worth Report <br \/>June 11, 2026<\/p>\n<p>A nonprofit providing free laundry services is coming to Fort Worth\u2019s Northside.<\/p>\n<p>Laundry Love Fort Worth will start operating from its third location later this summer at 2100 Ephriham Ave. The nonprofit, which works in south Fort Worth with Turbo Laundry and in west Fort Worth with Loyal Laundry, is set to start offering services later this summer at Loyal Laundry\u2019s new Northside location.<\/p>\n<p>Tonya Wilson-Brown, executive director of Laundry Love, said Northside has long been identified as the nonprofit\u2019s next area of expansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw a need in that area,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you go:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What<\/strong>: Laundry Love\u2019s first Northside event<\/p>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 21<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where<\/strong>: Loyal Laundry, 2100 Ephriham Ave., Fort Worth<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admission<\/strong>: Free, registration will be found <a href=\"https:\/\/laundrylove.org\/find-a-location\/?location=loyal-laundry-fort-worth-tx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">here<\/a> at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Laundry Love offers free laundry services in its monthly hourslong events. After signing up online and being cleared for eligibility, folks are able to do loads of laundry and are offered free detergent, bleach and fabric softener. Volunteers for the nonprofit also provide food.<\/p>\n<p>The move into Northside was made possible when \u201cperfect scenarios came together,\u201d Wilson-Brown said. The nonprofit received $10,000 from the United Way of Tarrant County and $7,500 from the Rotary Club of Fort Worth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Loyal Laundry\u2019s new storefront also made the move easier, given the existing partnership with the west Fort Worth location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are now able to go into a Loyal Laundry location and create a sense of community there,\u201d Wilson-Brown said. \u201cIt\u2019s not just about doing the laundry. They\u2019re really welcoming to us in that way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the first event at Loyal Laundry\u2019s new location, which just opened in March, Wilson-Brown told the Report the organization does not have the next possible expansion in mind and is focusing on the July launch.<\/p>\n<p>\nRelated coverage\n<\/p>\n<p>Laundry Love plans to customize services at the Northside location to better serve Spanish-speaking clients, providing bilingual brochures, bringing in bilingual volunteers and collaborating with local community organizations and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the nonprofit organizations and community organizations collaborate and work together more than I\u2019ve seen in a lot of communities in Fort Worth,\u201d Wilson-Brown said of Northside. \u201cIt\u2019s been really special to see the connectedness they have together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ismael M.
