{"id":860642,"date":"2026-06-11T20:34:21","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T20:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/860642\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T20:34:21","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T20:34:21","slug":"humble-isd-trustees-appoint-new-board-president-change-meeting-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/860642\/","title":{"rendered":"Humble ISD trustees appoint new board president, change meeting time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.humbleisd.net\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Humble ISD<\/a> trustees approved the appointment of Position 7 trustee Michael Grabowski to serve as board president during the June 9 board meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grabowski, who is taking on the role following Position 6 trustee Marques Holmes\u2019 year-long stint, thanked the board for the appointment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just very proud that I have been successfully selected as your new president,\u201d Grabowski said. \u201cI&#8217;m humbled for this promotion, and I don&#8217;t take it lightly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grabowski is now set to serve as board president for a one-year term.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What they\u2019re saying<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After being appointed, Grabowski thanked Holmes for his service to the board and the district.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou set a high bar, Mr. Holmes,\u201d Grabowski said. \u201cI hope to do the same.
