The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office issued a flood advisory Friday for Denton, Wise and Cooke counties. It is expected to clear at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
The severity is forecast to be minor but still present. Flood advisory’s are issued by the weather service when excessive rainfall is\u00a0occurring or forecasted, causing minor flooding.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to the weather service, rain and thunderstorms<\/a> will cut through parts of North Texas Friday, along with winds expected to be around 10 mph. Saturday night is forecast to see winds up to 20 mph.<\/p>\n Sunday, during the Netherlands vs. Japan FIFA World Cup<\/a> game at Dallas Stadium, temperatures are forecast<\/a> to be a high of 93 degrees with mostly sunny conditions and a heat index, or “feels-like” temperature, possibly reaching 101.
