Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Vasey of Jacksonville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n
Raymond Vasey and the former Janet Hess were married June 20, 1976, at Grace United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ron Colton.<\/p>\n
They have two children, Michael (Kate) Vasey of Indiana and Jonathan Vasey of Jacksonville. They also have three grandchildren, Clara, Grace and Ben, all of Indiana.<\/p>\n
Ray worked in information technology his entire career, with 17 years at John Deere Life and more than 30 years at CSC\/DXC. Janet worked as a business office technician for Memorial Physician Services for 15 years. Now retired, they enjoy gardening, traveling and the joyful opportunities to follow their grandchildren’s activities.<\/p>\n
