A Silver Alert is in effect Saturday for a missing 71-year-old man who was last seen more than 10 days ago in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
Juan Gonzalez-Hernandez was last seen at approximately 6 a.m. June 1 near East 43rd Place and McKinley Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.<\/p>\n
Gonzalez-Hernandez is Latino, 6 feet 3 inches , weighs 160 pounds has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and black pants and authorities said Gonzalez-Hernandez is believed to be traveling on foot.<\/p>\n
Anyone who has seen Gonzalez-Hernandez or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.<\/p>\n
