The move ends months of Capitol negotiations and approves a bipartisan spending plan.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am thrilled to sign this bipartisan Arizona First budget that invests in public safety, border security, education and delivers a historic $1.4 billion middle-class tax cut,\u201d Gov. Hobbs said Saturday morning. <\/p>\n
The tax relief will be spread over four years and includes no state income taxes on tips or overtime, a larger standard deduction, expanded child tax credits, a new child care tax deduction and additional tax relief for seniors.<\/p>\n

The budget also funds border security, public safety, child safety services, wildfire suppression, rural hospitals, school facilities, free school meals and programs tied to Medicaid and SNAP eligibility verification. It leaves Arizona\u2019s school voucher program untouched and pauses tax exemptions for new data centers<\/a> for three years.<\/p>\n The action comes more than a month after Gov.
