Knicks in Five.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">The mayor\u2019s social media message follows multiple incidents involving Knicks fans harassing Spurs supporters, some of which escalated into physical violence.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Shortly after the Knicks&#8217; 105-104 win over the Spurs in Game 2, <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_4347464\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/numerous-knicks-fans-arrested-cop-injured-game-2-nba-finals-celebration-near-msg\">17 people were arrested<\/a> at a watch party near Madison Square Garden, ABC7 reported. One person was taken into custody on allegations of striking and injuring a police officer. (Adam Gray\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Police said fans in the area became &#8220;increasingly disorderly&#8221; as the game progressed, <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_4347465\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7ny.com\/post\/knicks-game-2-win-nypd-reports-23-arrests-outside-madison-square-garden\/19245702\/\">according to ABC7.<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">In another encounter, Spurs star <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_4347466\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/outkick-sports\/knicks-fans-throw-objects-victor-wembanyama-outside-spurs-hotel-historic-game-4\">Victor Wembanyama<\/a> was met with hostility as eggs were thrown in the direction of the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
