The company announced Friday, June 11, that the jobs of 53 staff members (representing about 0.38% of CoxHealth\u2019s workforce) have been impacted by automation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The employees primarily \u201cworked in roles that involved manual entry for medical coding,\u201d and many are transitioning into new roles with CoxHealth, according to the statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTechnology has taken on work that once required significant manual effort, giving our teams more capacity to focus on the people and communities we serve.
