{"id":866907,"date":"2026-06-14T14:58:18","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T14:58:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/866907\/"},"modified":"2026-06-14T14:58:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T14:58:18","slug":"20-year-old-motorcyclist-flown-to-trauma-center-after-la-plata-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/866907\/","title":{"rendered":"20-Year-Old Motorcyclist Flown To Trauma Center After La Plata Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/MSPAC-trooper-7-2.jpg\" alt=\"MSPAC 7\" class=\"wp-image-1171824\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LA PLATA, Md. <\/strong>\u2014 A 20-year-old man was flown to a trauma center Saturday afternoon after a motorcycle crash in La Plata.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crash was reported around 3:45 p.m. on June 13, 2026, in the area of Oliver Shop Road and Crescent Run Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 911 caller stated the motorcyclist had flipped the bike and was up walking around after the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emergency crews responded to the scene and evaluated the rider. A medevac was requested a short time later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 2 airlifted the patient to the UM Capital Region Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oliver Shop Road was shut down in both directions during the response, with traffic blocked from Route 6 as crews worked at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police are investigating the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Got a tip or photo?
